If you already have a charger you will not need this. This is the same old charger with a more light colored. This item has a charging function of maintenance and protect the battery.

The indications of light are:
GREEN = fully charged battery
FLASHING GREEN = fully charged battery
RED = bad battery
FLASHING RED = Battery is too hot
So do not waste your money!

I recently purchased a Makita charger from her and to my surprise, my old battery is returned to life. They seem to have a full charge and now my drill works like new. It cost me only $ 25, thanks.

Three out of four old batteries (10 years or so) worked again after around unused for three years or so. Contacts clean and conditioned them – a pair quit after 5 minutes of charging and draining for nothing now, then reloaded and was finally able to obtain at least 50% the use of them. I charged the new battery worked like a charm. Good value & fast shipping.
