I like it because it covers my Kindle DX, but it is not connected to it. I take the right on the Kindle, use and then put it back inside also important for me, it closes all around to prevent dust / dirt getting on the Kindle when armed men around.
My only complaints:
- E ‘expensive for what it is. $ 20-30 would be a more reasonable price. Granted, I still paid, so I guess that is the ‘fair price’.
- It ‘a bit’ too large. I would have preferred that the Kindle fits more snuggly inside. As is, it seems as if it were ,5-inch too big on both the length and width.
Amazon I recommend the leather cover, because:
- Do not attach (you can read reviews on these issues in the Amazon version)
- It hinges and keeps dust / dirt from getting on the Kindle

Recently I took this when flying in different countries in hand luggage. This sleeve has worked well to protect the DX from impact, crushing and junk left by the passenger seat before. E ‘expensive for what it is, but it is well built. The zipper seems very sturdy. It is very professional.
On the other hand there is no place for the USB cable. If you want to be able to read, while the Kindle is in the hole, then this is not the sleeve for you. Finally part imitation leather covers the entire screen is not something so strong could be capable of drilling and damage the screen.
