I still remember the first time I put on a pair of 991s, he felt like putting on a pair of socks – fantastic. It ‘been a couple of decades ago and have bought a different brand or style of shoe since.
I was a bit ‘surprised when New Balance 991 cushining off the foam and replaced it with gel cushioned 992. It took some ‘getting used to but I made the move to the 992s. With the 992s it was also possible to get different colors of the 992s: the 991s ever came only in gray.
I was elated to learn, however, that the company has again upgraded to 993s that includes a combination of foam and gel. I think 992s are lighter too, and the sensation of first putting on a pair of 993s is much like wearing a pair of 991s. They did maintain multiple color options of the line 992 so you can get these in black, gray, white.
Overall, I am extremely happy with this product.
Everything about my loyalty is the commitment that the company has towards local markets. The 993s are Made in the USA and in the back of each of these shoes you can see the foreground in the United States against an American flag in bold. This is a patriot and shoes are very popular in the military. Unlike other shoe companies that use child labor almost a slave to make shoes and then resell them at profit horrible in America, New Balance offers good jobs in the United States. Become less and less useful they endorse athletes but buyers are loyal because:
a) its a fantastic product
b) probably the best shoe made (do not take my word, try one)
c) are made in USA
d) the company is committed to local markets and production of quality running shoes
No, do not run many more marathons (but I have in the past) and I love these shoes and once every two years, when my old pair of 993s to get relegated shoe repair at home, I go to buy a shiny new pair of 993. It ‘s always just a little’ special when I put on a new pair ….
Btw, my wardrobe has a lineup of two pairs of ten years old beat up old 991s still out when I do the gardening 992s that have recently been downgraded with the purchase of my 993s: Yes I still have my 991s, traveling through washer from time to time and continues to function even after 10-15 years ()…. amazing quality, but can not be seen in public anymore.
Anyway, I hope this helps you decide on these shoes. It ‘hard to find a running shoe that has a story and character like this line and I’ll admit I’m a bit’ selfish here, remains the most popular 993s – the less likely that you be suspended before he died.
These shoes are extremely comfortable and the size was right on target. This is the third pair of running shoes that I bought from New Balance and the plan for the purchase of its products continually. Overall these shoes are very comfortable and do not rub and part of my foot.
These are the only shoes that fit my feet because my high arch and extra width of the track I always buy this brand and am very happy that they are made in the USA.
I want to support the arch was higher, but the shoe is roomy enough to insert custom support
